Boil water and add to a bowl.
Create a tent with a towel and place face over bowl (shown in picture)
Inhale and breathe deeply as close to 30 mins as possible.
Add peppermint, eucalyptus, or spearmint essential oil to the water.
You can also make a strong tea with these herbs if essential oils aren't on hand.
If none is on hand the steam itself will help to loosen mucus.
Hot steamy showers also help.
