Exercise for Immunity

Did you know exercising a few times a week can help boost your immunity? We’ve all heard that exercise or movement can help bring the body into balance, but how exactly does it help the immune system? Here are a few theories:
  • As you move, and increase your breath, your body is expelling bacteria, and other microorganisms from the lungs. Your lungs is an eliminative channel releasing toxins, and other organisms from the body.


  • Also as your heart starts pumping more blood, oxygen, nutrients and waste around the body, the faster the waste can get out, whether through urine, or feces


  • The body is able to pump more white blood cells via the lymphatic system to spread more immunity around the body. Note: The lymphatic system needs movement in order to function at its optimal level.


  • Exercise also helps to reduce stress levels which improves not just your immunity, but your overall heath.
